Austin’s Grand Prix Up-Close at Formula Expo

Formula Expo™ returns to Austin in 2013 (date to be announced), taking place at Circuit of the Americas. It will be an exciting and interactive way to experience how the most advanced race cars and elite drivers come together to create the world’s most popular motorsport, and what this will mean for Austin as the host of the 2013 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™.

 

This is your opportunity to get up-close to the amazing cars, technology, and rich history that make Formula 1™ such a compelling sport to more than 600 million people worldwide. Whether you are new to the sport or a lifelong F1™ fan, Formula Expo’s array of exhibits, demonstrations and hands-on experiences will teach and excite you about Austin’s Grand Prix.

 

The Expo will feature cars from many of the top Formula 1 teams including Ferrari, Williams and Lotus, and a number of team members, former drivers and F1 celebrities will be making appearances at the Expo weekend.

 

The Expo intends for you to do more than look at exhibits, it gives you the opportunity to become involved through the Formula Expo Fun Zone.

 

Simulator

The Fun Zone has many interactive challenges for you to enjoy. Experience what it is like to drive famous F1™ circuits in our simulators, and if you are fast enough you will get the chance to compete for the hourly race trophy and maybe become the winner of the Formula Expo Championship!

 

Formula Expo has LOTS more to offer including a History zone featuring some classic Formula 1 cars. The Expo stage will present some of Austin’s best live bands as well as an impressive lineup of speakers from the racing community, giving talks and interviews covering all aspects of the sport. Alongside the stage is an F1 themed sports bar, where you can have a drink and food before exploring the exhibits of exotic and classic cars that are also at the Expo.
